PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission is comprised of six members appointed by the Board of Supervisors.   Members must be residents of the Township.  The Board has the responsibility of reviewing proposed subdivisions within the Township and recommending approval or rejection to the Board of Supervisors.  The Planning Commission Board consists of:

ZONING HEARING  BOARD

     The Zoning Hearing Board consists of three members appointed by the Board of Supervisors.  Their primary duty is to hear cases on individual requests pertaining to any possible deviation to the Zoning Ordinance.  This includes variances, Special Exceptions, and interpretation of the Zoning Officer.  The Zoning Hearing Board consists of:

    The Zoning Officer for the Township is Leonard Kozick.   He issues building permits, zoning permits, and occupancy permits.  Building permits are needed as a rule for any construction, which changes the outside dimensions of an existing structure or the adding of a new structure.  To be on the safe side, call Mr. Kozick before starting your project.  He can be reached at:  (570)674-2005.
