*Items NOT accepted for disposal include:  electronics, hazardous wastes, chemicals, brush, tree stumps, cinder blocks, animal or human waste, shingles, sheet rock or other building materials, leaves, grass, garbage, or newspapers, Freon-based items such as refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers or air conditioners.

LEAF PICK-UP

Leaf Pick-Up is held each year around the third week of November - weather permitting.  Leaves should be placed in biodegradable leaf bags only, and placed by the road curb.  All leaves are picked up and recycled into compost.  If any garbage material is placed in with the leaves, the leaves will not be picked up.  Residents are asked not to rake leaves into the storm drains - as the leaves clog the drains and prevent water from running through.

Pick-up reminders will be published in the newspaper.

CHRISTMAS TREE PICK-UP

Christmas Tree Pick-Up is held each year around the third week of January - weather permitting, from Monday thru Friday.  The Christmas trees are recycled as mulch.   There are no set dates or times for individual street pick-up.  Residents are asked to have their trees placed by the road curb.  They also have the option of dropping their Christmas trees off themselves at the Township Recycling Site. Christmas trees intended for pick-up MUST be free of lights and/or ornaments or they will be left behind.

Pick-up reminders will be published in the newspaper.
